The Club

The Haileybury Waterlions Swimming Club has been one of the top swimming clubs in Victoria since it started in the mid-1970's.

The club has more than 100 members spread over a number of swimming training squads from learn to swim lessons through to National Squad.

The Pool

The club is based at the Haileybury College pool (the Grenda Aquatic Centre) in Keysborough, a southeastern suburb of Melbourne.

This is one of the main competition pools in Victoria, hosting many competitions for the club and Metro District South, and has had many international teams training there.

25 Sept Kelly Stubbins is the new Australian Champion in the Women's 200 freestyle.
8 Sept Waterlions on fire at Victorian Age SC Champs - 3rd Victorian club overall (2nd in Male & 3rd in Female), 25 Gold medals, 117 top-10 places. What great results!
10 Aug Results posted for the Waterlions Winter Short-Course Meet on Sat 9th August.
21 July SV State Open SC Champs results - 5th Victorian club overall.
17 July Recent top performances: Roy Pearce set a new Victorian Record for the 17 years 400 free and Samantha Wilkins got a Bronze for the 100 fly in the Fisher & Paykel Trans-Tasman Series.
17 July Laura Harney awarded the Swimming Victoria - City of Melbourne Award for Female Freestyle Swimmer 16-18 years.
